In a significant stride towards economic sovereignty and industrial excellence, Rwanda's Inyange Industries has unveiled its first locally produced instant powdered milk, marking a decisive step in the nation's journey toward dairy self-sufficiency.

The launch, which took place at Inyange's Kigali facility, represents a crucial advancement in Rwanda's commitment to economic independence and industrial excellence. The company's current production capacity of 50,000 tonnes of milk daily positions it to fully meet domestic demand.
"This is the beginning of a journey to ensure no one imports milk products again," stated Alexis Kabayiza, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Trade and Industry, emphasizing the initiative's alignment with Rwanda's industrialization strategy.
