At the inaugural Genomics Conference in Africa, held this week in Kigali, Minister of Health Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art National Health Laboratory Services complex, including a dedicated genomics centre - marking one of Rwanda's most significant healthcare infrastructure investments.

The initiative aligns with Rwanda's leadership in technological advancement, combining artificial intelligence with genomic research to create an uniquely Rwandan model of healthcare excellence.
